Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian yaitu evaluasi penggunaan tepung maggot Black Soldier Fly (BSF) dalam pakan terhadap kinerja produksi ayam KUB pada fase layer. Penelitian ini menggunakan 200 ekor ayam KUB berumur 24 minggu digunakan dalam penelitian ini dan dipelihara selama tujuh minggu dengan perlakuan pakan yang berbeda. Analisis data dalam penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan dan lima ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri atas substitusi tepung maggot BSF dalam pakan sebanyak: A (0%), B (8%), C (16%), dan D (24%). Parameter yang diamati meliputi konsumsi pakan (g/ekor/hari), tingkat produksi telur harian (%), bobot telur harian (g/ekor/hari) dan konversi pakan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pemberian tepung maggot BSF dalam ransum ayam KUB periode layer berpengaruh sangat signifikan (P<0,01) terhadap konsumsi pakan, produksi telur harian, dan konversi pakan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tepung maggot BSF dapat dimasukkan dalam pakan ayam KUB hingga tingkat 16% tanpa menurunkan performa produksinya. Pada level tersebut, tercatat konsumsi pakan sebesar 94,11 g/ekor/hari, produksi telur harian sebesar 74,89%, dan nilai konversi pakan sebesar 3,25.

Abstract
The objective of this study was to evaluate the use of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) maggot meal in feed on the production performance of KUB chickens during the laying phase.
A total of 200 KUB chickens aged 24 weeks were used in the study and maintained for seven weeks under different feed treatments. The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and five replications. The treatments consisted of BSF maggot meal substitution levels in the feed: A (0%), B (8%), C (16%), and D (24%). The observed parameters included feed intake (g/bird/day), daily egg production rate (%), daily egg weight (g/bird/day), and feed conversion ratio. The analysis showed that the treatments had a highly significant effect (P<0.01) on feed intake, daily egg production, and feed conversion. The conclusion of this study is that BSF maggot meal can be included in the diet of KUB chickens up to a level of 16% without reducing their production performance. At this level, feed intake was recorded at 94.11 g/bird/day, daily egg production at 74.89%, and feed conversion ratio at 3.25.
